John Howard Nicodemus

John Howard Nicodemus, 79, entered into rest on Saturday, June 11, 2011.

Mr. Nicodemus was born on October 22, 1931 in Olive Green, Ohio. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army and participated during the Korean Conflict. He later retired from Dennison and Boeing Aviation as a Quality Control Supervisor. He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, and was preceded in death by his sister, Lenora Farris; and parents, Charles Henry Nicodemus and Imogene L. Smith Nicodemus.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Geneva I. Buckley Nicodemus; children, Michael, Dr. Paul, and Mark Nicodemus; siblings, James Lee Nicodemus and Flora Ann Lyons; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend David Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donation be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 M.L.K. Jr., Blvd. Ste. 201, Macon GA 31201.
