John Joseph Hebenstreit

March 24, 1945 — November 25, 2018

On the evening of Sunday, November 25, 2018, John Hebenstreit, entered into eternal rest at Elberta Healthcare.

John was born in Taylorville, Illinois on March 24, 1945 to the late Joseph Anthony and Virginia B. Hebenstreit. He worked in the office for Sunny Dairy for many years before dedicating 10 years to Thatcher Glass Company. John was a self-employed truck driver for 30 years before retiring. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family in his free time. First Christian Church of Warner Robins was his church home.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Sine Hebenstreit.

John’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Kyle Hebenstreit and Karla Vigil, both of Tampa, Kevin Rust of Huntington Beach, California, and Kim Rust of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Nichole Vigil and Adam Cain; two great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Hebenstreit (Sara) of Warner Robins; and a number of adoring nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for John will be celebrated on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church of Warner Robins.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Hebenstreit’s arrangements.
