John Mark Pernett, 80, entered into rest on Thursday, January 20, 2011.
Mr. Pernett was born on November 1, 1930 in Poland. He was a member of the first graduating class of University of California Riverside. John retired from Naval Weapons Laboratory where he was an Engineer and a member of the team that developed the guidance system of the Sidewinder Missile. He was preceded in death by his son, Alan Pernett and his sister, Lala Hughs.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Scott Pernett (Barbara), Jennifer Walker (Dan), and Amanda Hendrix; sister, Victoria Daylin; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be private.
