Mr. Jarrell was born on January 22, 1922 in Taylor County, Georgia. He was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a Fireman with Robins Air Force Base Fire Department with over thirty years of service. Mr. Jarrell was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church where he sang in the choir before becoming a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. His wife of sixty-seven years, Hazel Jarrell; parents, William and Almeada Jarrell; and brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Wayne (Mary Ann) Jarrell, Culloden; grandchildren, Craig and Lance (Jessica) Jarrell; and three great grandchildren, William, Cheyenne, and Parker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Reverend Glynn D. Grantham will officiate.
