Johnnie Trauth, 67, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.

Johnnie Fae was born on May 7, 1950 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Ray A and Helen Phelan Miller. She was a certified nurse’s assistant and an activities assistant at Warner Robins Rehab for many years. Later, she worked at Wal-mart in housekeeping. Johnnie Fae had a passion for animals; she loved to care for them including grooming them. In her spare time, she enjoyed quiet time at the lake fishing, bowling, and spending time with her beloved family.

Her husband of 45 years, Richard Trauth, Jr., preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Donald Richard Trauth (Sherry) of St. Cloud, Florida and Pearl M. Cox (Douglas) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Penni, Justin “Bear”, Justin “Mikey”, Dallas, Matthew, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Rylan, Skylar, Kiley, Elijah, Chase, Jaxon, and Olivia; sister, Louise Hileman of Highland, California, and brother, Donald Miller of Whiteville, North Carolina.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Farmhouse at McCullough. Johnnie Fae will be laid to rest in a graveside service at Andersonville National Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Johnnie Fay Trauth to the Wounded Warrior Project Foundation, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
