Joseph Kennedy Newsom

Joseph Kennedy Newsom, 60, entered into rest on Friday, May 3, 2013.

Joseph was born on September 9, 1952 in Wilmington, North Carolina. He retired from the United States Army Reserves and from Lockheed Martin. Joseph loved spending time with his family. His daughter, Melanie Mays; and parents, James and Teresa Newsom, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving daughter, Tiffany Newsom Cochran (Adam), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Clay, Cole, and Kaylee Cochran and Brent and Ricky Mays; siblings, Carey Newsom (Kathy), Tucson, Arizona and Alice Newsom Spivey (Ken), Marietta; and adoring nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later date in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road PMB # 359 Macon, GA 31210.
