Joseph W. Joiner

Joseph Windle Joiner, 93, entered into rest on Monday, October 27, 2008.

Mr. Joiner was born on July 18, 1915, in Mangum, Oklahoma. He worked in civil service as a machinist and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a 32nd Degree Mason. His son, Joseph Ronald Joiner, and parents, Joseph Warren Joiner and Elsie Joiner, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Amy Clark Joiner; children, Linda Hall (Bill), Elizabeth Large (Jack), and Thomas Joiner (Glenda); grandchildren, Joseph Barrett (Gayle), Minnie Webling (Mark), Sheila Cochran (Brian), Jason Joiner (Stephanie) and Brian Mitchelson (Tracy); and thirteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Magnolia Park Mausoleum, Reverend Missy Blumenthal officiating, with entombment following. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, PO Box 31356, Tampa FL 33631-3356.
