Joyce Betbeze Anderson

Centerville – Joyce Anderson, 82, entered into rest on Monday, February 22, 2010.

Mrs. Anderson was born on September 22, 1927 in Mobile, Alabama. A homemaker, she dedicated many hours volunteering as a Pink Lady at the Houston Medical Center. Her husband, Ray Cecil Anderson, son, Joe Anderson, and parents, Sylvain Betbeze and Margaret Shaw Betbeze, all preceded her in death.

She will live in the hearts of daughter, Brenda Fuller (Ed), Centerville; six, grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Joann Thomas (W.G.) and Betty Andrews, both of Mobile, Alabama; brother, Buddy Betbeze (Cecilia), Birmingham, Alabama; a number of nieces and nephews, and her best friend Bessie Young.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Dr. Allen Hughes and Reverend Ray Gentry officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the Heart of Georgia Inpatient Hospice, 1120 Morningside Drive, Perry GA 31069.
