Joyce Pope Brannon

Joyce Pope Brannon, 64, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2013.

Mrs. Brannon was born on September 14, 1948 in Dallas, Texas. Joyce worked for the past twenty years at the Arts and Crafts Center at Robins Air Force Base and was the current Director over the facility. She enjoyed using her skills as both an artist and a director to meet the needs of the many customers she met through the Arts and Craft Center. Even though her work was an enjoyment, her most precious part of life was spending time with her family and her yearly visit to see her mother in California and occasional trips to Atlanta to see her father and step mother. She enjoyed gardening and helping remodel her home. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, children, parents, and dedicated co-workers.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Donald Brannon, Warner Robins; mother, Donna Abreu, Chula Vista, California; father and step mother, Glen and Maryland Shelton, Atlanta; children, James Clay Pope (Kathleen), Great Falls, Montana; Teresa Sullivan (Lee), Newalla, Oklahoma; Michael Don Pope (Traci), Warner Robins; step children, Donald Scott Brannon and Amanda Leigh Brannon, both of Warner Robins; sister, Raylynn Nagrone-Cope, Chula Vista, California; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street Ste. A., Macon, Georgia 31201.
