Juanita C. Parrish Graham

Juanita C. Parrish Graham, 87, walked into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Juanita was born on October 26, 1930 in Berrien County, Georgia, one of 12 children to the late Columbus Wiley and Maudie Hester Carr. At the age of 18, she moved to Macon and later made Houston County her home. Juanita was a switchboard operator at Houston Medical Center for several years before joining Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base as an equipment clerk. Upon retiring from Civil Service, she volunteered as a Pink Lady at Houston Medical Center for a number of years. Growing flowers was her favorite hobby. First Baptist Church of Centerville was her church home.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Oswald Lambert Parrish; her son-in-law, Lenn Chandler; and 10 siblings.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Joseph O. Graham of Centerville; children, Evelyn New (Tommy) of Perry, and Doris Chandler and Dan Parrish (Rhonda), both of Kathleen; grandchildren, Leigh Leatherwood (Chris), Carla Lindstrom (David), and Robert Parrish (Kat); great-grandchildren, Gavin Leatherwood, Cayleigh Leatherwood, Carson Lindstrom, Daniel Lindstrom, and Jackson Parrish; and sister, Margaret Bellflower.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Cleghorn officiating. Juanita will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Tifton.

McCullough Funeral Home has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Graham’s arrangements.
