Judy Elaine Wilson

On the afternoon of Thursday, June 15, 2017, Judy Elaine Wilson, joined her Lord and Savior in heaven.

Miss Wilson was born on February 27, 1956 in Warner Robins, Georgia, to the late Eldon D. and Irene Barnett Wilson. Growing up in Warner Robins, she attended Happy Hour School for thirty years. After relocating to Stockbridge, she attended Henry County Center for Developmental Disabilities. Miss Wilson enjoyed bowling and attending children's hour at the Henry County Library as well as participating in local events for the developmentally disabled. She worshipped with the congregation of Mabel White Baptist Church on television for many years while visiting in Warner Robins. But, shopping was her most favorite thing to do. The employees of Belk, Walmart, and Dollar Tree were so kind to welcome her to their stores. Miss Wilson never met a stranger and was loved by all who were privileged to meet her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mack and Gladys Wilson and John A. and Alma Barnett; aunts, Betty Milo and Mable Bailey; uncle, John E. Wilson; and cousins, Chris Kost and Danny Alexander.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her adoring sister, Barbara Herskowitz (Dennis) of Stockbridge; nephew, Shaun Herskowitz; aunts, Cherry Oliver (Edward), Martha Jean Wilson, Virginia Dawson (Butch); special caretakers, Darryl and Rosemarie Sealy and Doug and Wanda Gandee; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation with Miss Wilson's family will be Monday, June 19, 2017, from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Dr. Lee Sheppard officiating. Following the service, Miss Wilson will be laid to rest in a private ceremony. Flowers will be accepted, or contributions be made in memory of Miss Wilson to the donor's favorite charity.
