Judy Enckler

Judy Enckler, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 13, 2018.

Born on April 06, 1947 in Cordele, Georgia, Judy was the daughter of the late Lucy Pearce Handley. She was a member of the first graduating class of Northside High School in 1966. Judy worked for more than 50 years as a CPA for various financial firms in the Middle Georgia area. She was a fantastic artist and honed her skills in many different areas of crafting, including woodworking and painting. Judy won first and second place for her paintings in a recent regional fair contest. She and her husband, Harry, owned and operated The Back Porch Gallery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where they sold their handmade frames, cabinets, tables, and other items to fellow art lovers. Judy loved animals and was known to pick up strays from time to time which became her pets. Her favorite pastimes included cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Harry Enckler; children, Kevin Enckler (Alissa) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Kasey Enckler of Byron Georgia; grandchildren, Kylie, Ansley, and Kinsey Enckler; siblings, Willard Handley (Monika), and Paul Handley (Betsy).

Visitation will be Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterwards, Mrs. Enckler will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mrs. Enckler to Warner Robins Animal Shelter, 208 Stalnaker Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or the Alzheimer’s Association at 885 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
