Katherine Hardy Bell

On the evening of Thursday, December 7, 2017, Mrs. Katherine Bell, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Bell was born on September 29, 1923 in Molena, Georgia to the late Annie Kate and W. Marvin Hardy, Sr. Following high school, she continued her education at the University of Georgia where she received her Bachelor’s Degree. She was a loving and devoted homemaker whose family was her top priority. Mrs. Bell had a servant’s heart; she was passionate about her church, Bonaire United Methodist Church. However, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family and friends.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, William Bell, Jr., and siblings, Hazel Hardy Fowler, W. Marvin Hardy, Jr., Fran Hardy Elizer, and Sutton L. Hardy.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, William Wiley Bell, III (Sharon Tucker), Kathy Bell Dawson (Randy), Samuel A. Bell; grandchildren, Thomas J. Bell (Elizabeth), Adrienne Tucker, Allison Tucker James (Brandon), Katie Dawson Dreslinski (Mark), Pattie Dawson Jones (Matthew), Debbie Dawson Jaimes (Efrain), Casey Bell Driggers (Alex), Samuel A. Bell, Jr. (Alexandria), Maggie L. Bell; great-grandchildren, Andrew Bell, Lauryn Bell, Ava Bell, Avery Tucker, Alivia Pearce, AJ Dreslinski, Sara Dreslinski, Xander Jaimes, Mia Jaimes, Austin Driggers, Emily Driggers, Addy Driggers, and sister-in-law, Mae Hardy.

The family will receive friends before the service to celebrate her life at Bonaire United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. After the service, Mrs. Bell will be laid to rest in Bonaire Cemetery.
