Kathryn Mathis

Kathryn Mathis, 73, entered into rest on Saturday, August 23, 2014.

Mrs. Mathis was born on January 19, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She retired after many years from her own business, Sunshine Domestic Services. Mrs. Mathis enjoyed traveling, photography, reading, crocheting, collecting dolls, NASCAR and, most of all, time spent with her family. First Christian Church of Perry was her church home. Her father, Frank Neary, mother and step father, Audrey and Emile Fournier and siblings, Thomas Neary, Franklin Neary, Betty Rhodes and James Baker preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of twenty four years, Charles Philip Mathis; children, Earl Bishop (Vickie), Jacksonville, Florida; Donna Walmer (Thomas), Warner Robins; Tommy Doyle (Kyoko), King, North Carolina and May Purvis (Alan), Centerville; step children, Charles Mathis, Jr. (Kathy), Monticello and Christy Findlay (Brian), Warner Robins; sixteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and dog Dayzee.
