Kathryn Virginia Pope

Kathryn V. Pope, 68, entered into rest August 26, 2008.

Ms. Pope was born on May 2, 1940, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She worked at Wal-Mart as a greeter for eleven years and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church. Her parents, Fithian Joel Barnett and Catherine Entrekin Barnett, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Kathy Sellers (Dick), Byron, Lloyd Pope (Connie), Byron, and Barbara Cox, Reynolds; grandchildren, Victoria Austin (Roy), Jonathan Pope, Wesley Cox, Jennifer Bowden (Corey), Joy Booth (Josh), Brandy, Kandy, Pope and Reba Sellers; and great-grandchildren, Blake Austin, Tony and Ali Bowden, and Caden Hodge.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dr. Glenn Gilstrap officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 303 Mary Lane, Warner Robins GA 31088.
