Keith A. Greene

December 17, 1962 — May 4, 2021

Keith Alan Greene passed away on May 4, 2021 in Warner Robins after a brief illness. He was 58 years old.

Born in Winchester, Kentucky on December 17, 1962, Keith was a lifelong University of Kentucky basketball fan. On Saturdays, though, Keith was a dedicated Georgia Bulldog football supporter. Music was his passion and he loved to play the guitar. Constantly trying to learn, Keith was an avid trivia player. He also enjoyed cooking for his family, especially grilling. Each year, Keith and his family would take a vacation to their favorite place in Mexico.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Julia Reffitt Greene, and siblings, Teri Walker, Jeff Greene, and Daphne Greene.

Left to treasure the memory of their husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend are his wife, Kristine Greene of Kathleen, Georgia; daughter, Ashley Catron (Jared) of Florida; grandchildren, Katherine Catron and Sophia Catron of Florida; brother, James Marvin of Michigan; nephews, James Richard Greene (Sandy) of Kentucky, Jay C. Greene (Laurel) of Michigan, Nick Rubin, and Derek Knuist of California; nieces, Jessie Greene of Indiana, Libby Walker of Kentucky, Jamie Rubin of California, and Samantha Knuist (Matt Awbrey) of California; great nephew, Wyatt Awbrey; father-in-law, Robert Cornely; sisters-in-law, Karon Knuist and Stacey Rubin (Alex); lifelong friends, Don and Lisa Lee; and a host of extended family and friends who will dearly miss him.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at The Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests a donation in Keith’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 233 Peachtree St., Harris Tower, Suite 2225, Atlanta, GA 30303 or to give blood to the American Red Cross.
