Kenneth Edward Fisher, 63, of Bonaire "slipped the surly bonds of earth to touch the face of God" on Wednesday, May 28, 2008.
Mr. Fisher was born in Van Lear, Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Navy and spent fourteen years working at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida in the computer science field during the Apollo era and Space Shuttle Program. He worked for Northrop-Grumman Corporation in Melbourne, FL and, most recently, was assigned to the J-STARS program at RAFB as a Software Engineer.
His memory will be treasured by his wife, Barbara Hepburn Fisher; daughter, Kara Thompson (Kevin); granddaughter Lindsey; mother, Hazel Fisher; brothers, James Fisher (Barbara) and Earl Fisher (Beth); sisters Virginia Loyce and Elaine Pelfrey (Kenneth); brothers-in-law, James Hepburn, Marcus Hepburn (Toni), and Dennis Hepburn; and sister-in-law, Patricia Hepburn. He was preceded in death by his father, James Harry Fisher.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church on Washington Avenue in Titusville, Florida.
