Kenneth "Kenn" Reginald Pelletier

Kenneth Reginald Pelletier, age 80, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on May 10, 2020. Kenn was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick to Reginald and Blandine Pelletier. He attended Madawaska Evangeline High School where he was considered an exceptional high school athlete in the State of Maine. Kenn attended the University of Maine at Fort Kent where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education.

Kenn was a longtime educator and administrator. He taught mathematics at Limestone High School and was a school administrator at Damon Elementary, located at Loring Air Force Base. During this time, he was also a well-respected high school and college basketball official. After serving as a school administrator, Kenn moved into Civil Service, working as the director for child development centers located at Air Force bases in Loring/Limestone, Maine; Hahn and Rhein-Main, Germany; and Maxwell in Montgomery, Alabama.

Kenn was a born again Christian, strong in his faith. He loved sharing his knowledge of the Bible with his family and friends, and demonstrated God’s love through his kindness and generosity. Kenn was a devoted father and husband, and found great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was at perfect peace when he left this Earth, knowing that he would meet his Heavenly Father.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jean Burton and Phyllis Fosnaught.

Kenn is survived by his wife, Eleanor Dee Pelletier, and his children, Terri Pelletier, Christopher Pelletier, Kelly Rush, Kendra Regehr, and Tiffany Lowe; his sons-in-law, Vincent Rush, Denny Regehr, and Lance Lowe; his grandchildren, Brandon Rush and his wife, Madison Rush, Zachary Rush, Jacob Regehr, Levi Regehr, Elijah Lowe, and Eleanor Lowe; and siblings, Dean Pelletier of Maine, Rachel Pelletier of Pennsylvania, Carol Young of Maryland, and Jack Pelletier of Florida.

At the family’s request, all services are private.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
