Ken Barker, 62, passed away at home on the afternoon of Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL on May 4, 1960 to the late Robert T. and Sue Midkiff Barker. Ken loved life and was a frequenter of the Chevron service station at Collins Avenue in Centerville where he loved playing the machines and socializing with employees and customers alike. Though he didn’t have much, he would give anyone the shirt off his back. Ken will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his Chevron family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Barker.
A candlelight service to celebrate Ken’s life will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Chevron, 500 Wilson Drive, Centerville, GA 31028.
