Kevin Christopher Aiken

Kevin Christopher Aiken, 21, formerly of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007.

Kevin was born on April 19, 1985 in Macon, Georgia. Shortly after Kevin’s birth, he was diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. His doctors expected him to live only 3 months, however, because of the dedication, love, nourishment of his family and friends, and by the Grace of God, they were blessed to share his life on earth for almost twenty two years. Kevin attended Shirley Hills Baptist Church in Warner Robins. Before moving to North Carolina, Kevin attended Houston County High School where he was a member of the Partner’s Club. He graduated from West Stokes High School in King, North Carolina. He was active with the Special Olympics, he loved reading and music. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luna and High Aiken.

Family members include his parents, Pam and Clack Aiken, King, NC; siblings, Krista Aiken, Savannah, GA; Kenton Aiken, King, NC; grandmother, Beverly Luttrell, Warner Robins, GA; uncle and aunts, Bobby and Alison Luttrell and Kathy Westmoreland, and six cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, in Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 2, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation (CdLS) 302 West Main Street, #100 Avon, CT 06001.
