Kevin Wade Evans

Kevin Wade Evans of Roberta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Kevin was born on October 13, 1964 to Bobby and Shirley Evans of Oakridge, Tennessee. Known for his faith and servant’s heart, Kevin was passionate about sharing the Gospel and showing the love of God to all those he met. His character was consistently genuine and he had a gift of seeing the needs of others. He faithfully served in the church body and in his community. He was an avid fan of the Tennessee Volunteers football team. On most Saturdays in the fall, he could be found in his chair with his dog, watching football. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed coaching Little League baseball.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Loice Evans and Lefty and Ethel Brannon.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Gail Evans; sons, Daulton Evans (Candace) and Conner Evans; grandson, Judah Wade Evans; sister, Kellie Deen; and brother, Kirk Evans. Kevin also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1101 Dunbar Road, Warner Robins, GA 31093. The family will receive visitors from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. before the 4:00 p.m. service. The funeral will be officiated by Pastors Tim Sizemore and Chris Minton.
