Kristin Kathleen Parsons

Kristin Kathleen Parsons passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2015. She was 45 years old.

Kristin was born on November 17, 1969 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. When she was two months old, she moved with her parents to Warner Robins, Georgia. She was one of three children to Leo and Margaret Stevens. Kristin graduated from Northside High School with the class of 1988 and later attended Georgia Southern University. She received an Electronics Technology diploma from Middle Georgia Technical College and later worked in the Avionics Directorate at Robins AFB, Georgia. She was currently a student at Central Georgia Technical College studying a diploma program in Business Administrative Technology. Kristin was a lover of sports, music and dance. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and also enjoyed all types of music. Dancing was her passion. Her laugh was contagious and endearing and she could light up a room with her smile.

Kristin's memory will be treasured and never forgotten by her father and mother, Leo and Margaret Stevens of Warner Robins; her adoring children, Matthew Parsons, and Sydney Parsons, both from Cape Canaveral, Florida and Sean-Allen Parsons from Ramstein, Germany; sisters, Lori Freeman of Warner Robins and Kerry Jendon of Atlanta, Georgia; nephews, Mark Freeman and Alex Freeman, Warner Robins, Georgia; niece, Haley Stevens of Atlanta, Georgia; step daughter, Melissa Knost of Orlando, Florida; aunt, Gail Fordyce of San Antonio, Texas; cousins, Tom Fordyce of Arlington, Texas, Kathleen Fordyce and Jennifer Fordyce-Newsome of San Antonio, Texas.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. A private interment will be held Friday at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be given in memory of Kristin Kathleen Parsons to the charity of your choice.
