Kurt H.L.T. Rover

June 2, 1944 — March 22, 2020

Kurt Rover, great husband and loving father, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2020. He was 75 years old.

Kurt was born on June 2, 1944 in Osnabruck, Germany. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and retired in 1988 having attained the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Kurt went on to become a Civil Servant at Robins Air Force Base where he was an educator and Director of the Professional Development Center; he ultimately retired after 15 dedicated years of service. When he and his wife, Mary, moved to Warner Robins 36 years ago, they became devout members of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Kurt leaves behind a loving family and many friends to forever treasure his memory.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Rover; children, Jerry Ray Rover and Virginia Ellen Almanza (Michael); grandchildren, Curtis Almanza (Patricia), James Almanza, Brittany Rover Hermes (Hugh), and Ashlyn Rover; and great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Almanza, Lucas Hermes, Declan Hermes, Calvin Almanza, Emmett Almanza, and Lawton Hermes.
