Larry Dossett

Larry “Hobbit” Dossett, 52, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2006 in the Carl Vinson V.A. Hospital in Dublin. Services will be held at 3:00 on Thursday, April 13, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Dossett was born on October 28, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was in the construction business and was a member of the Grace Fellowship of Warner Robins. His parents, Eugene and Rachel Busby and sisters, Karen Busby Parker and Elizabeth Farelia Tipton preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Beth Mitchum, Fort Valley; children, Paul Dossett, Leesburg, Florida; Gretchen Likens and husband, Philip Likens, Oxford, Florida; granddaughter, Hannah Likens, Oxford, Florida; brothers, Leslie Paul Dossett, Massachusetts; Leonard Busby, Connecticut; sister, Sharon Powell, Warner Robins, Sheila Chandler, Warner Robins.
