Larry S. Lampela

Larry S. Lampela, 68, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 23, 2015.

Larry was born on July 25, 1946 in Colbert, Georgia to the late Floyd and Ruby Lampela. He was a veteran of the Georgia National Guard and retired as an exterminator from Orkin Pest Control. Larry loved his family more than anything and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Larry leaves behind his memory with his loving wife of 48 years, Wanda Lampela of Warner Robins; son, Chris Lampela (Amy) of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Megan and Brock Lampela, both of Huntsville, Alabama; siblings, Karen Turner (Vernon), Lee Gray (Judy), Randy Gray, and Catherine Wilkes (Ronald); parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Stallings; brother-in-law, Keith Stallings (Ramel); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. On Sunday, July 26, 2015, funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Larry S. Lampela to your favorite charity.
