Laura Allene Brown

Laura A. Brown, 94, entered into rest on Sunday, August 29, 2010.

A homemaker, she was born in Richmond, Indiana, on December 28, 1915 and worked for American Standard in the 1940s. She was a member of Bonaire First Baptist Church and the Joyful Hearts Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, Stanton E. Brown, and parents, Robert Kerr and Lucy Hanson Kerr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Linda Carlson (Wayne), Rancho Mirage, California, and Martha Lafferty (Mark), Bonaire; granddaughters, Jennifer Ridley, Charlottesville, Virginia, and Elizabeth Lafferty, Bonaire; grandson, Jared Lafferty, Bonaire; and three great-grandchildren, Ian, Tristen and Cameron Ridley.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Bonaire First Baptist Church, 142 Georgia Highway 96, Bonaire GA 31005.
