Laura Carol Barrett

Laura Barrett, 66, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2007.

Ms. Barrett was born on March 13, 1941 in Telfair County, Georgia. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Always willing to help others, Carol was a caregiver with Heart of Georgia Hospice. She was a resident of Houston County since 1941. Her parents, Cleveland C. and Laura Ethel Carpenter, and four brothers, all preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her husband, Billy O’Herron, Bonaire; loving children, Theresa Carol Casey (Jeff), Hammond, LA; Tammy Barrett, Ventura, CA; Howard Barrett (Rachel); Missy Owens, all of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brandie, Jennifer, Matt, Angela, Lee, Jade, Wally, Casey, and Arley; great grandchildren, Stephanie, David, Trevor, and Georgia; sisters, Betty Coffman, Dallas, GA; Willie Owens; and Lunell Martin, both of Warner Robins.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
