Laura Eddy

Laura Elizabeth Eddy entered into rest on Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Laura was born on March 15, 1937 in Macon, Georgia to the late James Irwin and Laura Thurmond Beecher. She graduated from Miller High School and attended Mercer University where she was a member of the Phi Mu Sorority. Laura was a long time member of Vineville Baptist Church. Prior to her retirement, she dedicated many years assisting senior citizens while working at Malone & Associates.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted children, Stephen Eddy (Amy) and Shannon Eddy (Kim), both of Macon; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Nita Malone of Stone Mountain and seven nieces and one nephew. Laura was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kip Eddy; parents and brother, Thomas Dewitt Irwin.

A graveside service celebrating Laura’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery with Reverend Eddie Berryhill officiating.
