Laurene R. Wood

Laurene R. Wood, 89, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.

Laurene was born on November 26, 1925 in Dodge County, Georgia. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. Laurene was a devoted homemaker, always caring for her husband, sons, and church family. In her spare time, she loved sewing, fishing, and bowling.

Her husband, Loomes Wood; parents, Ed and Rosa Long Rozar; and sisters, Mae Poston and Imojean Rozar, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Ronald L. Wood (Sandy) of Atlanta, Donald Wood of Warner Robins; and sister, Ernestine Giddens of Grissom.

The family will greet friends Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00p.m in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Laurene will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
