Laverne D. Luck

Laverne Duggan Luck, 91, entered into rest on Thursday, October 31, 2013.

Mrs. Luck was born on March 6, 1922 in Tennille, Georgia to the late Julian and Hilda Duggan. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. Laverne retired from Robins Air Force Base where she dedicated many years in civil service as a Contract Negotiator. She loved reading, especially mysteries and Christian books. Laverne was strong in her faith and passionate about spending time with her family; always putting others needs above her own. Her parents, her husband, Clifton D. Luck, and siblings, J.M. Duggan, Mary Snipes, and David Duggan all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, William C. "Bill" Luck, James M. "Mike" Luck, sister, Reba Thomas (Charles), all of Warner Robins; sisters-in-law, Betty Duggan, Cocoa, Florida; Caroline Calhoun, Milledgeville; grandchildren, Jeffery Luck (Krista), North Carolina; Kristin Keith (Jason), Warner Robins; great grandchildren, Duggan Luck, North Carolina; Liam and Claire Keith, Warner Robins; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to Shirley Hills Baptist Church, 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
