Leon Stark

Leon Stark, 88, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2007.

Mr. Stark was born on February 23, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. With loyalty and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII. Mr. Stark retired from Robins Air Force Base where he was Director of Grounds Safety for the Air Force Reserve. He also retired from Kmart. Leon was proud to be a Mason with Tyrian Masonic Lodge #111 F&AM. His parents, Jack and Lena Stark, preceded him in death.

He will be missed by his beloved wife of sixty three years, Lil Stark of Warner Robins; sons and daughters-in law, Carl and Lois Stark of Macon; Gary and Elaine Stark of Forsyth; daughter, Sherry Stark of Columbus; and grandchildren, Chad and Corey Stark of Macon.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2007, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at McCullough Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Tyrian Masonic Lodge #111 F&AM, P.O. Box 506 (650 Tallulah Trail) Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 in memory of Mr. Leon Stark.
