Lillie J. Walker

Lillie J. Walker, 80, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Houston Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, at the Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday at McCullough Funeral Home. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1544, Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544.

Mrs. Walker was born in Alapaha, Georgia on February 26, 1924 to the late Lewis and Sarah Jernigan. She retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a Procurement Officer for fighter planes. Mrs. Walker was a Pink Lady for many years at Houston Medical Center. Also preceding her in death was her husband, Claude G. Walker.

Survivors include, son, Dewayne Walker (Jill), MS; daughter, Elaine Belk (Wesley), Chula, GA; daughter, Aileen Walker, Cumming, GA; brother, Williford Jernigan, Alapaha, GA; sister, Willa Mae Lewis, Jacksonville, FL; brother-in-law, Lonnie Walker, Warner Robins, GA; sister-in-law, Juanita Turner, SC; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
