Lima C. Wallace

Lima C. Wallace, 88, died Saturday, December 29, 2001 at the Medical Center of Columbus, GA. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 31 in the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with interment following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation was held Sunday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wallace was born in Greenville, Mississippi. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins, where she was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class. Mrs. Wallace was a retired educator having taught in the Houston County School System primarily at Westside Elementary. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority in Houston County. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and Houston Association of Educators. She was an educator for 21 years in Georgia and taught several years in Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Greer Wallace, parents John and Mary Carpenter, daughter Peggy Gilchrist and son-in-law Robert Gilchrist.

Survivors include her son, Glenn T. Wallace of Manchester, Georgia. Grandchildren, Erin Silvaroli of Orlando, Florida, Lynley Barry of Titusville, Florida, Edwin Wallace of Manchester, Georgia. One great-grandchild, Taylor Force of Titusville Florida and one nephew John Kelley of Eastman.
