Linda Hughes Etheridge

Linda Hughes Etheridge, 59, entered into rest on Friday, August 20, 2010.

Mrs. Etheridge was born on November 21, 1950 in Baxley, Georgia. A resident of Warner Robins since 1967, Mrs. Etheridge was a dispatcher with the Warner Robins Fire Department. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Etheridge is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Gilbert F. Etheridge; father, Lonnie Hughes; mother, Lounell Hughes Williams; and brother, Bobby J. Morris.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sister, Ona D. Merritt, Douglas; brothers, Carlton Morris (Lynn), Gillsville; Lewis E. Hughes, Sr. (Gloria), Warner Robins; Larry J. Hughes (Jean), Warner Robins; James "Jimmy" Williams (Denise), Warner Robins; step-father, Wendell Williams (Shirley), Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Shirley Beard and Jackie Lunsden-Hatmaker.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services officiated by Mr. Ed Hatmaker will be on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
