Linda Sue Higgs

Linda Sue Higgs, 78, joined her beloved husband of 64 years, Estill Ray Higgs, in heaven on the afternoon of Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Linda was born in Drakesboro, Kentucky on February 14, 1939 and lived in the Warner Robins area for most of her life. She was a career military wife and stay at home mother with five children. In her free time, Linda enjoyed traveling, gardening, quilting, and spending time with her family. Friendship Baptist was her church home.

She was preceded in death by her children, David Ray Higgs and Wayland Scott Higgs; parents, Ellis McPherson and Gladys Johnson; her guardians, Russel Slaton Morris and Kathrine Johnson; and siblings, Hollis McPherson, Russel Morris, Jr., and Lindall “Buddy” Morris.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Curtis Lee Higgs (Helga) of Cartersville, Georgia, Sandra Jo Boyken of Palatka, Florida, and Tina Michelle Frizzell (Fredrick Nelson) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Danny and Jon Higgs, Nickie Frye, Elizabeth Golden, Ricky Holcomb, Amber Poole, Brian Holcomb, Jessica Sanders, Johnathon and Shaun Higgs, Brad White, Belinda Greenwood, Elizabeth Williams, Crystal Wysowski, Frederick Ray Frizzell, Kasandra Dore, and Danielle and Dorothy Frizzell; siblings, Joline Latham, Bobbie Morris, Janie Ford, Pat Watt, and Eddie Morris.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Paul Cowles officiating.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Higgs’ arrangements.
