Lizzie Hale

Lizzie Hale, 93, entered into rest September 17, 2008.

Mrs. Hale was born in Johnson County, Georgia, on May 21, 1915. She retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base working in maintenance production control. She was of the Baptist faith.

Her husband, Lt. Bonnie Hale; parents, Milledge Swain Meeks and Maggie Lindsey Meeks; sons, Zane E. Johnson and Bobby Johnson; sister, Ila Mae Smith; and three brothers, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Alton L. (Mary) Johnson, Warner Robins, Michael (Ann) Hale, Palmetto, and Terry M. (Janice) Hale, Palmetto; sister, Wyneve Newsome, Kite; daughter-in-law, Rose Johnson; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008, in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend Sydney Odom officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society National – GA, 12 Perimeter Center East, Suite 1200, Atlanta GA 30346.
