Mrs. Lois Irwin Slider, 78, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2004 in her home. Services will be private.

Born in Elgin, Illinois, Mrs. Slider was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bessie Rosenquist and the widow of Alborne Slider. A homemaker and musician, she was author and composer of “The Healer” and numerous other hymns which are played worldwide. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Warner Robins.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Melody and David Etheridge, Mt. Clare, WV; sister, Elaine Roberts, North Hollywood, CA; five grandchildren: Kristy Lee Daugherty (Brian), Savannah; Melissa Lynn Jeffrey (Eric), Elkton, VA; Weston David Etheridge (Michelle), Clarksburg, WV; Melinda Lois Etheridge, Mt. Clare, WV; and Kenneth Wesley Etheridge, Mt. Clare, WV; and four great-grandchildren: Sydney Daugherty, Savannah; Journey Renee Jeffrey and America Lynn Jeffrey, both of Elkton, VA; and Amber Lee Etheridge, Clarksburg, WV.
