Lois S. Garrett

July 5, 1928 — May 21, 2017

In the early morning hours of Sunday, May 21, 2017, Lois Garrett, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Garrett was born on July 5, 1928 in North Fairfield, Ohio to the late Walter and Violet Newman Silliman. She worked at and retired from Robins Air Force Base as a Transportation Clerk. An avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, Mrs. Garrett approached life with a take-charge attitude. She was active in water aerobics, loved to play bingo, and spend time in her flower garden. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins and the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School class. She also enjoyed participating as a member of TOPS #123. As much as she enjoyed these different activities, her greatest joy came from time spent with her beloved family. Lois was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, Harry Neal Garrett.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Linda Ross of Ooltewah, Tennessee, Luanne Holle of Warner Robins, Lori Lineberger (Larry) of Lizella, Rita Duke (Michael) of Centerville; son, Bob Garrett (Deborah) of McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey; grandchildren, Kenny Ivester, Michael Ross, Gary Holle, Lois Holle, Lisa Holle, Bryan Ross, Leslee Holle, Shelley Mitchell, Lacey Byrd, Neal Garrett, Kelly Lineberger; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Seidel of Shelby, Ohio and Nancy Milliron of Birmingham, Alabama; special friend, Norman Funk of Warner Robins; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
