Loraine C. Boatwright

Loraine C. Boatwright, devoted wife, sister and friend, passed into the hands of her Lord on the morning of Friday, July 8, 2022 at the age of 84.

Born in Fort Valley, GA on September 26, 1937, Loraine was the daughter of the late William and Etta Young Clark. She retired from Robins Air Force Base with 30 years of dedicated Civil Service and enjoyed substitute teaching for the Houston County Board of Education in her retirement. Loraine was proud to have earned a Doctorate Degree in Theology and to serve as a member of Harvest Cathedral.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Garland Boatwright; and her sisters, Gay Nash (Jim) and June Clark.

Loraine’s family will receive friends for a memorial gathering on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Fountain officiating.
