Byron – Louise Corbitt Murray, 90, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at her home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, at the Open Bible Tabernacle of Crawford County, on Sandy Point Road. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Union Hill Church in Atkinson County. Visitation will be Monday, April 19 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Murray was born in Pearson, GA. She attended Union Hill Church in Atkinson County and the Open Bible Tabernacle of Crawford County. Her son, Thomas Gordon Murray; parents, Thomas S. and Maggie Corbitt and two sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include husband, Troy Ronald Murray, Sr., Byron; children, Carol Murray Parrish (Walter), Centerville; Troy Ronald Murray, Jr. (Pat), Lizella; Ralph Norman Murray (Debra), Macon; Lyn Murray Gaff (Wendell), Perry; Harry Loyd Murray (Neal), Byron; Larry Floyd Murray (Pamela), Perry; sister, Winnie Harrell, Florida; brother, Hillman Corbitt, Pearson, GA; sister, Willard Vickers, Douglas, GA; sister, Lou Nell Holman, FL; sister, Ernestine Gilstrap, Atlanta, GA; aunt, Fannie Gurley, Pearson, GA; 21 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
