Louise R. Ranew

Louise R. Ranew, 90, entered into rest Thursday, August 7, 2008.

Mrs. Ranew was born and raised in Lyons, Georgia. She graduated from Lyons High School and Georgia State Teachers College (now Valdosta State University.) A retired civil servant from Robins Air Force Base, she was a homemaker and an avid reader. Her husband, Carl J. Ranew, and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Rogers, preceded her in death.

Family members include her brother-in-law, Walter Ranew, Warner Robins; nieces, Gail French, Brunswick, Bonnie Franklin, Perry; nephews, Robert Lee, Huntsville, Alabama, Scott Lee, Mooresville, North Carolina, Arthur Hendry, Fishers, Indiana and Mike Kelly, Abbeville.

There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2008, at Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First United Methodist Church Television Ministry, 205 N. Davis Drive, Warner Robins GA 31093.
