Billie Olin Lenderman, Jr., 65, entered into rest on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Billie was born on May 19, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Billie Olin Lenderman, Sr. and Majestic Carter Lenderman. He served in the United States Air Force for twenty years including during Desert Storm. Billie was a command pilot and instructor pilot in the KC-135. He concluded his twenty year career in 1992 as the Commander of the 912th Air Refueling Squadron.

After retirement from the Air Force, he worked for TRW as a Program Manager, Flight Safety International as a JSTARS instructor pilot and then Northrup Grumman as Chief Instructor Pilot of JSTARS training for the USAF.

Billie graduated from Auburn University and earned his MBA from Georgia College and State University. He was a member of Central Baptist Church, the Warner Robins Rotary Club and Order of Daedalians. He enjoyed playing golf, but his greatest love was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and Auburn Football.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Teresa Hilderbrand Lenderman of Warner Robins; sons, David Lenderman (Laura) of Scott AFB, Illinois and Greg Lenderman (Nanette) of Sharpesburg, Georgia; grandchildren, Emmett, Greer and Brooks Lenderman; sister, Barbara Lenderman of Smyrna, Georgia; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Full Military Honors. Inurnment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201 or Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
