Msg Thomas "Steve" Morton, Us Army (Ret)

Steve Morton, 79, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

Mr. Morton was born on September 29, 1933 in Dublin, Georgia. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was also retired Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. A devoted member of Central Baptist Church, he served as an usher and enjoyed serving dinner to his church family on Wednesday nights. Mr. Morton was an avid golfer and loved watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves. His parents, Tom W. Morton and Margaret E. Rowe Morton; and brother, Buddy Morton, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Chong Morton, Warner Robins; sons, Thomas Eric Morton, Yokota Air Force Base, Tokyo, Japan and Stevie Morton, Hawaii; and uncle, David Rowe, Atlanta, Georgia.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
