Msgt Al J. Roberts, Sr., Usaf (Ret)

MSgt Al J. Roberts, Sr., USAF (Ret), 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2011.

Al was born on September 2, 1934 in Key West, Florida. A retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, he also retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Al was a member of First Christian Church of Perry, and will always be cherished as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His parents, Eugene L. Roberts, Sr. and Dell Lowe Roberts; and brother, Kermit Roberts, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Stella Ann Roberts, Warner Robins; children, Al J. Roberts, Jr. (Denise), Buford, Georgia and Jeanne Engle (Allen), Perry, Georgia; grandchildren, Justin Brantley and Mason Engle; and siblings, Eugene L. Roberts, Jr. and Harry W. Roberts.

Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Ron Nolen will officiate.
