Burt Burnam passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2006. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with services to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr. Warner Robins, GA 31088 or Alzheimer’s Association 277 Martin Luther King Blvd. Macon, GA 31201.

Mr. Burnam was born in Valier, Illinois. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. A retired veteran of the United States Air Force, he served during the Vietnam era. He was an avid golfer. His parents, Frank James Burnam and Ida Burnam, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Rose Burnam, Warner Robins; children, Christine Shearouse (Perry), Florida; Lisa Armes (Greg), Kathleen; Bryan Burnam (Susan), Apollo Beach, Florida; sisters, June Owen, Eureka Springs, AK; Dorothy Thompson, Christopher, IL; brother, James Burnam, Martinsville, IN; and grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, Nathan and Hollyn.
