Msgt Carl F. Sivils, Usaf (Ret)

MSgt Carl F. Sivils, USAF (Ret), 71, entered into rest on Thursday, December 1, 2011.

Carl was born on September 5, 1940 in Cullman, Alabama. A retired Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force, he also retired from Civil Service, totaling forty-six years of working for the United States Government. Carl was a resident of Warner Robins since 1978. He was an avid University of Alabama Fan (Roll Tide!), and in his spare time, he enjoyed traveling and yard work. His parents, W. F. Sivils and Bertha Easterwood Sivils, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-two years, Barbara Swain Sivils of Warner Robins; children, Randy (Cheryl) Sivils, Peggy (Steve) Colley, and Lisa Bridges, all of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Glen Sivils of Byron; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Pastor Todd Shearin will officiate. The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be given to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
