Msgt. David Martin Gray, Usaf (Ret.)

Retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, David Martin Gray entered into rest on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at the age of 70. He was born in Batavia, NY on March 28, 1952 to the late Robert and Marian Becker Gray.

David proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a gunner with the Strategic Air Command; he retired from the Air Force having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Not content to sit around after his military career, he continued service to his country as an investigator with the Office of Personnel Management from where he also retired.

When he wasn’t at work, you could find him fishing, riding his motorcycle or shooting his guns for fun. In addition, David was a proud member of the Tennessee Squire Association as he was a loyal and longtime enthusiast of Jack Daniels! He will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him as a true friend to the ones he loved.

David is survived by his siblings, Dan Gray and Trisha Gray; and his fiancé, Maggie Graf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Gray.

Visitation with David’s family will be on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with a graveside funeral service in Andersonville National Cemetery on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
