Msgt David S. Pate, Jr., Usaf

David Shardon Pate, Jr. of Locust Grove, Georgia passed from this life to be with his Lord July 16th, 2011. Funeral services will be at St Joseph Catholic Church Macon, Georgia on Friday, July 22 at 1:00 p.m.

A MSgt in the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Warner Robins Air Force Base and served with the ACC 116MXS/ MXMP. David grew up in Mt. Herman, Louisiana and graduated from Mt. Herman High School. After receiving a degree from Diesel Mechanic College in Nashville Tennessee he joined the Air Force and served 22 years. He later earned a BS degree and a Masters in Logistics from Touro University.

He is survived by his wife Jamie of Locust Grove, Georgia.; daughter, Elyssa S. Pate of Valdosta, Georgia; parents, Reverend David S. Pate, Sr. and Jean Pate of Brazoria, Texas; sisters, Tricia Thomasson of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; De Ann Freeman Pate of Brazoria, Texas; Chris Pate of Charlotte, North Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

David�s greatest passions were his family and golf. He will be greatly missed by his faithful companions Snowflake and Sassy. He has left us with many fond memories that will be cherished until we meet again.
