Msgt. Derrick Alexander Lee, Usaf

MSgt. Derrick Alexander Lee, 45, passed away at home on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Born on August 12, 1974 in Washington DC, he was the son of Sylvester and Patricia Lee.

Derrick was proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served in Security Forces. In his military career, he completed several deployments as a military working dog handler and was honored to have spent time working with the Marine Corps. Derrick was a decorated veteran who took great pride in his work. At home, he was a wonderful father to his girls who he loved very much. Derrick was extremely outgoing, strong-willed, and opinionated; you never had to guess what he was thinking!

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Naomi Killian.

Derrick is survived by his loving daughters, Ashley, Megan, and Zoe Lee; and parents, Sylvester and Patricia Killian Lee.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Derrick will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
