Msgt Edmond Lee Harman, Usaf (Ret.)

Edmond Lee Harman, 80, went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2015, at the Medical Center in Macon, Ga. Born in Wilcoe, West Virginia, on December 24, 1934, he was the oldest of 15 children. Edmond proudly served in the United States Air Force as a Gunner on the B-52 Bomber until his retirement in 1970 from Robins Air Force Base and ARINC. During his time in the Air Force he served three tours in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann Harman; children, Eddie Harman of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christine Harman of Warner Robins, Pat and Frank Powell of Warner Robins; sisters, Penny Whiteley of Centerville, Nannie Hunley, and Lucy Walsh of West Virginia, Mary Hunley of Virginia; brothers, Jack Rose of North Carolina, Alec Rose and Vernon Rose both of West Virginia; 4 granddaughters; 1 great grandson; and 6 great-grandaughters.
Visitation with Edmond's family will be Wednesday, December 23, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. After the service, Edmond will be laid to rest in Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville, with full military honors.
